Michael Peca signs with Columbus--way to go, Leafs. Idiots.

And the Baby Jesus has a new clothing line.

JR, even if Peca stays healthy this year, do you really think he could be a factor on the Leafs? I say get young, develop players and build.

Maybe I'm prejudiced but I've ALWAYS been a big Mike Peca fan. Great defensive player, great face-off guy and plays balls to the wall every game. But you're right--health is a factor.

Stay young, develop players and build, eh?

Yup, because that has worked out so well with Nik Antropov.

And the Leafs have so much in the pipeline.

Falling back on Armchair_QB's new thread in Anything Goes, one must cut the snake off at the head ... i.e. young Ferguson is crap.

I think in the "just out of teenybopdom" category, they possibly count as "hot".

Actually, I think in Cole Harbour, they might count as 'hot.'

I guess the fact they have teeth would make them not in Cole Harbour. :)

So Peca went from one team that figures to finish between 7-12 place to another team that figures to finish 7-12 place ... .

Are you talking about the Pronger references from when Kingston drafted him? I think his stock fell quite quickly, and I'm not certain there's much upside there.
