I think Maurice and JFJ are supposed to rub the outline and magically the 1967 Leafs will walk into the dressing room, all in their primes, to lead the organization to The Cup.

If the new unis look anything like the mock up that CBC put together, blech. Ugly. They should go back to the pre Geometrical Leaf days – something similar to their third jerseys. One of my all-time favourite sweaters.

No, you missed the Pappin story ... they are rising from the waters like Atlantis.

Flames trying to keep the redesign on hush around here. King says all conjectures on the intraweb are false.

First Pappin, then Horton and Baum?

Shit. I gotta get my hair cut like Tim Horton, circa 1967.

I think I can pull it off.

Meanwhile, this is how much of an idiot I am: On Saturday, I was walking down the street and I passed four grandmothers. One of them said, "Oh, he looks like the actor, Jake Gyllenhaal." I smirked, said thanks and swaggered off.

I was once told I had the face of an actor. No marriage proposal for me? :p

Pssst ... Sam ... I'll propose to you tomorrow. I try to keep it to a one-a-day minimum. Just don't tell hockeybeat.
