Finally, the excitement we have been looking for since the start of the series. Still not enough for me to watch.

    Sirs, Madames,

Not an original thought but this series would kick ass if it was Canada vs US.

I've seen Turris six times before (summer-18s, spring-18s) and never saw why he was No. 1 in the CSS rankings. He looked like a stick figure at the combine. But he's a legitimate player. Other stuff: There's a couple of teams that would like a draft do-over to take Brandon Sutter. And Legein, probably.

    YHS, etc

Perron scored a spectacular goal, hands-down the goal of the series. Canada wins 3-0.

Unrelated matter, but here goes. The game schedule was released in Halifax for the World Championships:

And in the running for Selfish Prick of the Off-season Award ... Scoooooooooooooooott Niedermayer ...

Still hasn't made a decision about whether he's returning to play.

"I'm in a different spot, no question about it," he told TSN. "But again, I'm just trying to make the right decision. I know it's unfortunate that people are waiting to see what the decision is - it's not fun, but that's the way it is right now."

Has McGuire stopped crying about that yet, or is it not an issue since he's back to being a Canada homer?

McGuire has all but called Sutter the Jesus Christ of coaches.

Here's a scary thought: Should Niedermayer come back, the Ducks have him, Pronger and Schnieder on blasting away on the PP.

That likely makes one of them moveable.

But who do you move? Schneider?

Still if he does retire I don't like Anaheim's chances of repeating next year. Schneider is really their one big addition, meanwhile they potentially lose Penner, Neids, and Selanne. Plus Giggy is coming off of surgery and just signed his big contract. He was a bust in his last big contract until his final season. Repeat performance perchance?
