So far I haven't been to wild about any of the actual new designs. I prefer the old ones for the most part

And with the signing of Jeremy Roenick, The Cup will avoid San Jose for yet another year.

He and Doug Wilson were teammates in Chicago, so I'd think Wilson of anyone would know what he's getting. I'm still betting this works rather well.

As much as it pains me to say it, as far as the RBK sweaters are considered, they're actually pretty decent.

Not remarkably different. Just some racing stripes and the shoulder patches. I can live with it.

The crest looks bigger; I really like the Alberta and Canadian patches, too.

The jerseys I like, the shoulder patches piss me off. It's like they're staking claim to being Canada's team or Alberta's team. So if the Oilers don't follow suit with the patches does it make them any less representative of the province or the country. What about the Canucks, should they start putting the BC flag on their jerseys? or what about the fleurdelis (sp?) on the habs sweater? I know it's petty but what can I say, they started it.

I would actually like to see their management explain that one away. Be right up there with Koivu's "we might make the playoffs, but we have no chance of winning the cup this year" comment he made recently
