Funny ... the front page of the Sun today throws to excerpts from Mulroney's memoirs. Had a short debate with my colleague about it.
It seems kind of classless to me that Mulroney would publish a rebuttal to Trudeau's 1987 criticism long after the old boy was cold in his grave and couldn't respond.
In incredible hyperbole, my colleague said Mulroney slamming Trudeau is kind of like Hitler criticizing Mussolini -- just two terrible politicians.
So, in defence of Trudeau, I gave him the finger.

Mulroney's flogging a new book and no one cared a wit about him five minutes after he was finally out of office.

And you're right, it's pretty classless. But it's Mulroney, so what do you expect?

He was half the PM and man that Trudeau was.

Ben Mulroney is the worst thing he did to this country.

I've been trying to figure a way to ship him south. Let the Yanks deal with him. :)

We got rid of Celine Dion. Surely, it can't be that difficult.

I think Ray Emery should park his Hummer and take cabs. First last year's incident, now this:

"On the way to the rink, I had a little argument with a dude," Emery said in a telephone interview Wednesday afternoon. "He swerved in front of me and started throwing fingers all over the place and so I decided it was time to talk it over. I got mad and started yelling at him. I didn't threaten him. I was just using some regular expletives. I've talked to a couple of people (with the Senators), but I'm not too worried about it. I won the war of words and he got a bit mad. I'm not apologizing or anything."

    What's a "regular expletive"?

The greatest American-born defenseman of all-time, Brian Leetch, will have his No. 2 raised to the Madison Square Garden rafters on January 24, the Rangers announced today.

This is one of the few times a Devils fan will actually agree with something associated with the Rangers.

    OK, back to hating NYR.
