Who gives a damn about all this football? Training camp opens and I'll be three rows away from the ice for an NHL exhibition on Sunday afternoon.

    Very cool.

I think sometime next week I'll be at Devils' camp, talking to Bruce Sutter. Can't wait.

Langenbrunner news is not good news.

Also in that story it talks about the Devils voting on who will be captain of the team. Elias definitely seemed surprised.

If you're in the first fantasy-hockey league in Yahoo, please don't go in a second one if it will mean you won't aggressively manage the first team. I hope people in more than one league won't stop managing one team if things don't go well early in the season.

Ondeadline: I am certainly planning on managing and being competitive in both leagues.

    HB.

For those who are interested in the NHL.com league, we still have six spots remaining.

That's cool. It's just that in the espn.com fantasy-baseball league I created, there are people who haven't made moves for more than a month despite having players who are out for the season. I know that at least in one case, the owner is in several leagues.

Obviously people can be in more than one league and managed them all on a daily basis, it's just frustrating when it doesn't happen.

Did I miss something with Langenbrunner? He is in one of my pools and if it is injury I better make a decision to turf him, if I need to.

I just got another team picked today and I am happy. Got Crosby, Giguere, Kovalchuk, Sakic and JC just for you I got Tucksie....

I am already getting trade offers. Like I am really going to trade up this group.

Also, Maurice is guaranteeing the Leafs make the playoffs this year. I really hope he is right because he will have tomatoes thrown at him if he doesn't....well okay probably worse will happen but I am hungry right now so that is why I am thinking food.

This site has the most of the new sweaters up.

    I love the Leafs sweater.

Dallas and the Islanders, as per usual, look like they hired a color-blind monkey to design their sweaters.
