It would be interesting to find out how many ticket buyers are Canadian versus American fans. Something tells me the majority of seats will be filled by Canadian fans.

On another note, Leafs lose 3-2 in OT to Oilers in preseason game.

No easy exhibition for Ottawa's Martin Gerber: 52 saves in a shutout of the Flyers.

Best news I've heard out of the NHL in a while.

Can we please pick one side of the fence?

Flash, still on the pessimistic side of the fence that they won't sell out. However, the tickets that do get sold will probably be predominately Canadian

Yeah, that better mean Toronto plays Colorado on the schedule again. That means my yearly winter trip to Toronto will resurface.

In case you all miss any of the post-game fun from last year's Cup:

For your viewing entertainment. The post game from Games 2, 3, and 4 from the Cup final were the best moments that TV could not provide. People were looking for the Snoop Dogg interview with Scott Oake and the ribbing about it.

Another case of Donna not checking her facts:

    3. NHL players Jarome Iginla, Shane Doan, Mark Recchi and Darryl Sydor have formed a group wanting to buy the Kamloops Blazers, but the Blazers aren't yet selling.

The team has been sold to River City Hockey. The sale was approved in June or July.

    Nice work.

At least we are getting some sort of NHL preseason game here. Montreal is playing Boston on Sunday.

Why can't they just bring a normal NHL game to a neutral place like Halifax? Why is it always preseason?

Although, last year's game with Ottawa and Toronto was sold out and took place the same weekend as the Stones concert. A lot of Leafs roster players dressed for that game.

Flash, is River City Hockey affiliated with River City Sports?

    Flash,
I'm confused. Who's Donna and where did the story come from?
