    That is when they played an 84 game schedule and every team had 2 neutral site games

    Why the hell would they? People pay good money to bring a professional franchise to a city for people who pay good money to buy season tickets there and support the team on home ice.

    Look ... if people in Lower Buttfuck, Nova Scotia, want to go see the pros play, get in a plane. Taking the game to small population areas for a visit is not good business.

    'Tis a story from a long, long, long time ago ... around the mid-80s. One of the national news networks happened upon a story of family values unlike any in our fair region. These folks lived in a commune just outside of Wolfville, home of Acadia University.

    Now this family had no trouble extending its legacy without the input of others. After all, as one gentleman said, looking seriously into the camera, 'what's a man to do when his 14-year-old daughter hits on him?'

    Another was asked if they knew of the ramifications of incest. He replied, 'Insects? What do you expect me to do? We swat 'em away with a newspaper!'

    For a long while, the ultimate insult in Nova Scotia was to call someone a 'Goaler.'
