That didn't take long. Players are complaining about the new sweaters.

Lindros is a bit of a tragic character.

From the time he was 12 or so, he was the hockey equivalent of "the smartest guy in the room".

And with the exception of a couple of years at the beginning of his career, including his Hart season, he never lived up to those expectations but was the centre of controverry from the beginning of his OHL career--thanks to his parents.

HIs public persona was a whiny brat but I don't buy it entirely

I think because he was coddled by his parents during his career, he never learned about the world and how to be one of the boys.

That said, there's no excuse for Lindros boffing a teammate's wife.

Heard that Lindros was proving to Mrs. Eric Desjardins why No. 88 was the game's pre-eminent power forward during the 2000 season.

Rumor has it that the day before the Game 7 loss to Jersey--in which Scott Stevens basically ended his career--the Flyers were practicing with the Phantoms and Lindros got into a fight with an AHL kid. Both teams piled on top of the Big E, taking their best shots.

Again, more trades in the NHL have taken place because of player philandering. Hockey players might be whores, but so are a lot of their wives.

How do you think they met most of them. If you have ever played or been around junior hockey you'll know what I'm talking about

Seven years of trying to get through the Blazers bunny patch when leaving the building ...

Rumour has it that Brampton has a "puck rabbit"....our very own Annie Savoy.

    Just a rumour though....

Anyway, I always had this weird kinda feeling that Lindros was, well, uncertain whether he was AC or DC.

It's junior hockey ... so she'd be Miss McGill, not Annie Savoy. :D
