Damien Cox goes after MLSE about Ferguson. Either let him do his job or fire him

Keeping the current setup is why Colin Campbell and other respected hockey people weren't interested in the job when JFJ got it. Lou Lamoriello and Brian Burke would never, ever work in a situation in which they had to run everything past a board of directors.

Hasn't changed since the days when Dryden was President.

He and Guerin trashed a hotel room and sprayed a sleeping Mike Richter with a fire extinguisher.

My favourite part of that whole "scandal" is how apparently Team USA's Hockey team was the only group of people who got stuck with 'substandard' chairs, with the breaking and so on.

Marty Brodeur is off the competition comittee, after they didn't heed his requests to make the game safer for goaltenders.

Terry Frei's HHOF vote and reasons whyfore:

If Francis and Messier aren't two of the four picked today, they ought to drug-test the committee. The only real question is who the other two picks for the Hall will be. I'm thinking Scott Stevens has a decent shot along with Larionov and MacInnis.

It's official: Mark Messier, Ron Francis, Al MacInnis and Scott Stevens are in the Hall and NHL executive Jim Gregory was voted in as a builder.

Gregory should be in for no other reason than his job pronouncing European player names and teams after the first round of the NHL Draft.

It should have been a formality for Ron Francis. As much as I want to wear the jersey/sweater, it's freaking hot here.
