Flames sign Cory Sarich, lose Roman Hamrlik to the Habs, then sign Owen Nolan. Yeeeah, Cup's not coming anywhere near here ...

    Owen Nolan??

A nice little cancer to the dressing room.

You guys may have seen I said...in two years. The Flyers are slowly building their defense up and I am liking it, but they need to get rid of some dead weight. I believe Hatcher is still on the team, and right now he is only good for picking fights.

And now Buffalo is willing to match any offer to Vanek.
    Thomas-effing-Vanek.
The same guy who two years ago was benched in the playoffs.
The same guy who has a total of two years in the league.

    Good-fucking-Gawd.

I guess teams are trying to pry everybody from that team way including the bums. You better hold onto the beer vendors, I hear they are in high commodity.

I was trying to be nice.

Kings had a heck of a day, and it looks like the Sharks are interested in Sheldon Souray. http://torontosun.com/Sports/Hockey/2007/07/03/4308592-sun.html

Mad, ease up on Vanek. It's all the Sabres have left. :)

And Miller. They still have Miller.

Madhavok, it could be worse. You could be an Islanders fan.

Yeah, and at the end of the day, the Sabres will be in the playoffs and the Leafs won't.

You really have to give credit to the Sabres organization there. Most teams would just throw the beer guys out there, but the Sabres sent them to a three-day training program with the little guy from Sam Adams. That's the extra effort the Sabres are going to need in the 55th straight 2-0 loss.

You know what? It must suck ass to be a Sabres fan right now. But I'm not sure what they should have done differently. EIGHT years for Briere? That's crazy talk. SEVEN for Drury? Not as bad, but still more than he's worth, IMO.

I'm trying to remember: What, exactly, was the point of the lockout? Because I'm starting to get a little pissed that we missed a full year of hockey only to have the same old teams throwing around silly money to poach smaller-market teams' players.

I sure hope Shero can get something done quick in Pittsburgh. Because it's going to suck in four years when Crosby is a Flyer, Malkin a Ranger, Staal a Red Wing and Fleury in Colorado.

No, they still have Mad Max, too. Yeah, the OTHER guy who got benched in the playoffs for Tin Man's Disease.

Heading downtown for the Bisons game tonight; I hope I don't get caught up in the lynch mob looking for Darcy...
