Seattle Times reporting that UW ready to hire Arizona’s Jedd Fisch to replace DeBoer.

All they need to tell him is “At UW, you’ll never have to travel to Lubbock.”

This'll be the first instance of me telling myself how unusual I still find it (although it's happened before) to see a coach move from one Pac-12 school to another and then stop myself and say "Oh, right!"

Not so sure Piscataway, West Lafayette, Iowa City or Champaign-Urbanna is any picnic either.

The highlight is when you leave.

I liked CU when I lived there — except for the five-month winter.

I think Matt Campbell might have been the better hire.

Fisch turned around an Arizona program that had far fewer resources than Washington.
I think he will do well, although again UW was going to take a step back either way next fall.

Fisch can recruit his ass off. Matt Campbell is milk that expired a year ago.

Never been to New Jersey, but at least the other three can all say they don’t smell as awful as Decatur, Ill. Or Cedar Rapids, for that matter!

Decatur is something else. You can smell it driving by on the highway.

My grandparents were originally from Decatur, I remember visiting relatives when I was 10 and saying to myself that this place is the worst place I have ever visited. 56 years later I have been to 48 states and it still is.
