    Usually when I start a comment with a "that so," the tone of my next few words is set. Maybe I am reading that wrong, but I feel you do not have to have held down a corner to like rap music.

    Probably a different thread, but a sincere question: How repugnant does a song's message have to be to render the beat moot?

    To me, the song is the rough equivalent - as are many of West's songs - of Marie Antoinette's "Let them eat cake" line.
