Yeah, cause Damon and Giambi are worse than Sexson and Christian.

Come on old man, don't let your hate color the facts.

Oh, by the way the Yankees make me so angry I could stab people.

You mean the Damon who is batting .322 with a .393 on-base percentage and 18 stolen bases for the season? Yes, I know he isn't 100 percent healthy, but he is still hitting .362 with 10 runs scored, 10 RBI and three steals over the last two weeks.

Yup, completely useless. They should sit him more often.

Edit: I have to agree with Angola on this one.

How about some OBP for us stat geeks. And Sexson's numbers with the Yanks, or including last year, or the previous 2.

I'm still waiting for the Damon / Christian argument.

The real arument guy is it's 2 players, it's not like wholesale changes.
6of the 9 starters stat no matter who's pitching (Pudge/Molina is only other swap).
Face it,no matter who the Yankees put out there now, they aren't hitting anywhere near what they expected and haven't all year.

9 out and going down hard.

Of course, but your job as manager is to put your team in the best position to win. Tonight's lineup, in which Justin Christian gets more times at the plate than anyone else (theoretically), didn't.

Not to mention having a left fielder and a first baseman who aren't defensive liabilities.

Barring a massive Red Sox collapse, the Twins will retake first place.

    Now win tomorrow!
