The Twins finally cut Livan Hernandez and called up Francisco Liriano today.

 

I'm not sure what else they could have done with him. They had four guys in their rotation pitching well, Liriano dominating in the minors and Hernandez pitching like crap. They not only had to do this, they should have done it sooner.

 

That sound you hear is me dancing a jig on Livan's baseball grave.

That said, how much you want to bet someone picks him up?

BTW, story doesn't say, but I'd guess Liriano's first start would be Sunday.
