    You know, it's not often a man admits he was wrong.

    The same bullpen that cost the Mets the division last year is going to kill them again this year. It's the same guys, in the same roles, failing once again. Unbelievable.

    And, as a Marlins fan, the Mets are the biggest threat, with a cake schedule down the stretch.

    BTW, nice job, spnited, not saying a word about Jason Bay.

    I'll say two things about Jason Bay:
    1. He hit a home run tonight and
    2. he is not now and never will be anywhere near as good as Manny...
    who also has hit a home run tonight.

    This is all on Minaya. At least three-quarters of those zombies should have been put on the train the night of Sept. 30, 2007, and with extreme prejudice.

    Ricky Nolasco further distances himself from the field as the third-best pitcher in the NL East.

    And, he's closer to No. 2 than he is to No. 4

    Damning with faint praise.

    And, no. He's close to neither Cole Hamels nor Johan Santana.

    He is closer to those two than he is to Mike Pelfrey.

    That might be true. But again, damning with faint praise.

    Mike Pelfrey is no Tim Hudson. Or Jair Jurrjens, for that matter. Both of those two are better than Pelfrey this year.

    The Tim Hudson to whom you refer... may as well have been hit by a car. He's done.

    The Marlins rotation is going to carry to the division this year.

    And, then everyone goes to arbitration and bye-bye.

    This baseball system is tremendous!!!!!!

    And frankly:

    Hudson = 3.17 ERA, 85/40 K/BB in 142.0 IP
    Jurrjens = 3.06 ERA, 96/46 K/BB in 132.1 IP
    Nolasco = 3.94 ERA, 104/34 K/BB in 134.2 IP

    Nolasco's K/BB is far better than Hudson and slightly better than Jurrjens ... but that ERA is whopping.
