For the same reason Larry Sheets hit 31 home runs in 1987?

Another one of Tony LaRussa's steroid-fueled creations.

Just blame your buddy, Mr. Farnsworth. So even when he's out of a Yankee uniform, he's fucking the Yankees.

On second thought, good job, Kyle. :D

We just got word that Skip Caray has passed away.

Sorry, can't link to anything yet because we just got the news.

If/when you get confirmation, I'd say that deserves its own thread.

Jeez. When you get a link, start a separate thread for that one.
    RIP Skip.

I very nearly just started a third. And I don't say this to needle, but Moddy, yours has his name spelled wrong.

Fixed. No need to hedge, that needed to be fixed. Thanks for pointing it out.
If you asked, I could spell it. And I ALWAYS type it wrong. Never fails. Never get Harry wrong. Weird.

Anyway, in on field Braves news - didn't somebody post on an earlier thread that this guy was lights out?

This would appear to answer that question.

Also, Trevor Miller of the Rays ended an MLB-record streak today: 121 appearances without a decision.

In real life, my wife holds the record for consecutive appearances without making a decision.

Does that mean your job is to be Kyle Farnsworth and come in to allow a walkoff home run?
