The second balk call was legit. Padilla stepped on the mound, brought down his hands and stepped back off the rubber with his wrong foot (his left).

To me, they both looked "ticky tacky," to borrow a phrase from the impressive David Cone.

I look forward to Girardi's bullshit spin on this. "Joba will be fine." Then two days later his arm is amputated.

Maybe Parra got upset at Fielder for his consistently horrendous defense.

"Nice play out there. An eggplant could have gotten that one."

Somewhere, BYH drew 16 seconds of wood and he knows exactly why.

I was just going to PM you.

    AND he stole a base.

It's fun being on two bandwagons at once.

Poetic justice that Casey makes the final out against Kansas City. He cried his way into a "foul ball" in the eighth off his foot and later singled when he should have been the last out of the eighth.

Looked like an interesting night for the Mexicutioner, but two piss poor defensive plays helped Boston.

Speaking of bandwagons, those fucking wannabes who presumably went to KC tonight went home unhappy. The Mexicutioner bends, but doesn't break, and the Royals win 4-3.

Earth to Prince: I know you're in Cincinnati, but Manny Parra is not a bag of fucking Grippo's.

Seriously, someone needs to pull that team aside and tell them how to handle pressure. That someone cannot be Ned Yost, he cannot handle it himself.

And Yost, work on your dipshit analogies on the unemployment line. Way to lose control of your dugout with your enabling-the-players bullshit. Ted for Ned.

Miguel Batista, please report to out of the fucking league.

    3IP, 6 earned.

    6-0 Twins.

Queencreole kept getting mad at me because I kept muttering "Bandwagon fuckers." 75 percent of those cheering for Boston tonight at Kauffman Stadium couldn't tell you who the manager was before Terry Francona.

That'll be his final start of the year. Ryan Rowland-Smith is starting in Tacoma tonight and can slide right into the spot and represent a massive improvement this weekend.
