    Never argued. EVER.

    Really fucking disingenuous horseshit.

Didn't think that you were one of the assholes around here who wades in that cesspool.

Didn't say you did argue it. Others did.

And I'm not sure what you mean by that last line.

BJ Upton's not in the starting lineup for Tampa Bay today ... failed to hustle on a grounder to the pitcher last night.

Angola, while I don't think Simon's abrasiveness was warranted, I don't remember anybody suggesting Bay was as good as Ramirez, either. At least not on here.

I remember some people posting stats of the two side-by-side, showing they were having nearly identical seasons. That might have been what he's referring to.

Either way, Papi will continue to see pitchers throw around him, forcing Lowell, Youkilis and Bay to do what Manny did.

And the Rockies claim Livan off waivers.

    Enjoy!

That could be it. And you are right. That is the biggest impact of replacing Ramirez with Bay. No pitcher or manager is going to respect/try to avoid Bay the way they did with Ramirez.

Do you really thin Manny would be this "healthy" if he was still in Boston.

The National Beanball Service in Arlington has issued a Severe Beanball Watch for the Yankees-Rangers game. This watch is effective until 10:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time tonight. Persons under the beanball watch include ... Sidney Ponson ... Ian Kinsler ... Josh Hamilton ... and Marlon Byrd. This series has already produced a history of hit batsmen and a warning last night. Stay tuned to ESPN tonight for further details.

    Dear God,
Thank you for letting someone claim Livan before Omar got the chance.
    Amen.
