Santana got fucked by the shitwads on the pen.

Other than the awful first start in Cincy, he's been very good since the break and has almost nothing (1 win, 4 NDs) to show.

Glad to hear that David is doing it correctly.

Sounds like some interesting activity in the clubhouse.

I could have sworn someone told you that Santana has always been a second-half pitcher.

Same little bird might have told you that the bullpen was always the problem, I thought.

But hey, Mets win, Mets win. ;)

And I'm rooting for your Twinkies to win the AL Central, for no other reason than to see pallister whine like the little bitch he is. ;D

    Could this be true?

Mets announcers said six blown Johan wins by the horseshit pen this year is more than the Twins pen blew in his last 100 starts.

He is pretty good. But he helped give one away last night with an error and a base-running blunder, so he kind of owed them that HR. Hard to feel that good about this one, not when the bullpen continues to look like the worst in baseball. And spnited, the HR Kunz gave up last night was to the second hitter, not the first, and he didn't hit anybody, walk anybody or give up a 3-run jack, so compared to the rest of the Met relievers he's an effin' stud.

Joe Nathan, Pat Neshek and Rincon when he was still on the juice?

    Yeah, that's probably true.

You'd probably have to go back to Everyday Eddie to find a year when the Twins pen blew half that for Johan.

And Kunz did pitch a scoreless inning in his debut the other day ... proof that he's no Aaron Heilman.

Eh, Gola's got to find something to cheer about, because he sure as hell isn't going to get it from his Yankees. :D

C'mon, Beaker. 'gola's got Sidney Ponson.

Hey, he's pitched great his last two starts.

Too bad time is running out.

I still think the most amusing thing would be Hot Carl returning and going 4-0 down the stretch.
