Bud Black has actually been kicked out a few times this season. I don't blame him either given how crappy the Padres have been this year.

Eyre pissed me off many times, but he always seemed like an awesome guy, and I hope he does well in Philly. When he's good, he's a damn good lefty reliever (he just wasn't nearly consistent enough to rely on in a pennant chase).

Who knows? Ohman has been much better as a Brave than he ever was as a Cub.

I apologize if this is a d_b, but I didn't see it anywhere else. The Diamondbacks got a huge steal with the Haren extension. 4 years 44 million and change. When Buehrle signed his 4 yr extension for $56 million I remember the sentiment was that he was leaving lots of money on the table.

Good point...Haren is a good deal better than Buehrle now...

Right, Buehrle is a good pitcher, but he's not Haren. Haren definitely could have gotten much more on the open market. I wonder how much they're going to have to give Webb.

Taking into account the stuff-to-results ratio, is there a worse pitcher in baseball than Javy Vazquez?

Is stuff to results calculated like VORP? To answer your question, I don't know but he sure can be frustrating.

AJ Burnett has to be close.

If only because he's basically a .500 pitcher with some of the best shit I've ever seen.

Before this season, Kyle Lohse was certainly in the conversation.

Not even the Tigers can blow this 9th-inning lead, pallister.

Oh, and I also already did a thread regarding "stuff to results."

    Shut up. :)

Ya, the Sox beat the Tigers to the shitty bullpen punch tonight.

I think this means the sigline returneth.

Sox still hold a 1/2-game lead.
