No way. Vazquez laps the field.

    He's a real-life Nuke LaLoosh.

Cranberry has no idea why he just punted a poodle.

Good thing Billy Beane sold high on Haren.

That's not the start the Rays needed to their road-trip. Walk off homer by Ibanez, 2-1 Mariners.

Floyd and Navarro stranded Longoria 90 feet from home in the top of the ninth. Not good.

Ibanez is having a hell of a week.

They'll be fine. They'll still win the AL East.

Interesting story from Van Wieren just now:

Apparently, Mike Krukow has a real problem with the way Atlanta's Mike Gonzalez rocks back and forth before he starts his windup. "That's bush," he said. Krukow stopped the Braves announcers in the hallway in San Fran recently to ask them about it.

Not sure why he's so annoyed with it, but there you go.

    Krukow is...opinionated.

I remember he used to just hammer the replacement players who stuck around in the late '90s and early '00s.

The wall? How can he already be hitting the wall? He didn't even pitch the first month.

I'm surprised nobody has brought up the Dempster glove wiggle if they're bringing up that.

Because that 5-1 record with a 1.22 ERA in 6 May appearances just never really happened; it was like the lost season of Dallas or something. ::) Rub the sleep out of your eyes already.

The point is, he's made five or six fewer starts than most pitchers in baseball. Why should he be hitting a wall?

Good question. Your answer is ... what, exactly?
