Well, fuck. There goes another of my Fantasy pitchers down the tubes.

And, yes, I know nobody gives a fuck.

And Zach Greinke drills Delmon Young the first pitch after Young took him deep.

The AL Central: Don't dig in.

Ouch. Yahoo now calling Contreras' injury a ruptured achilles.

So who could clear waivers and be competent enough to be a 5th starter in a tight division race? Clayton Richard didn't exactly turn in an inspired performance when he was up although he could get better with some experience I guess.

RIP Rangers. They did their job — they got us to Cowboys camp.

But it looks like they're done. They've scored two runs since losing Murphy in that plate collision at midweek — both runs on solo homers. They trail Baltimore 9-0 in the top of the ninth.

They'll be a team to watch in 2009, but damn, they need to get all the pitching they can. Holy crap, that rotation sucks.

The Rangers are my AL team. I'm just glad they hung on this long. But it's not over yet, anything can still happen :D

Matt Garza struggling right off Jump Street against the mighty M's. Down 3-0 in second and has corners and 0 outs.

Not sure if this was posted anywhere earlier, but Astros outfielder Carlos Lee will need surgery to repair a broken pinkie finger on his left hand. He was hit by a Bronson Arroyo pitch in the third inning Saturday. He is out at least six weeks, possibly the remainder of the season.

Lee is batting .314 with 28 homers and 100 RBI. And yes, I care primarily because this one is an absolute killer for one of my fantasy teams (Hi spnited!)

Obscure stat that caught my attention tonight ... Chipper Jones has six career grand slams. Brian McCann? Five.

    First-place Minnesota Twins. Nice ring.

    Now stay there.
