It's only a tradition to say "Let's get some runs" when the Cubs are behind.

 

It didn't make me think he's some sort of homer. I think he has a good enough reputation to do something like that.

 

He has worn a Cubs jersey on TV many times and openly admits being a fan.

He's a columnist.

And he doesn't often write about baseball.

I think he's fine.

 

I like how La Russa yanked Kennedy out of the game after that through-the-wickets ball. With that an the terrible strikeout he made earlier, Kennedy might not see the field again this season.

And with Carpenter hurt, it's almost time to stick the fork in the Cards.

 

I don't think any journalist should get a seat like that that any ordinary schmoe can't get.
