Dunn is also one of the few guys in the NL who is strong enough to consistently hit the ball out of those NL West ballparks. The offenses in that league are pathetic, thanks in part to places like Petco and the Artist Formerly Known as Pac Bell.

Question: Does he play left field? First base? Both?

And the real Aaron fucking Heilman returns.

Pedro leaves with a 5-1 lead after 6, it's now tied at 5 in the ninth with the bases loaded and Scott Schoeneweis trying to bail out Heilman.

I'm not joking, spnited, when I say I hope you have blood pressure medicine at the ready during Mets games. That team never makes things easy.

The Pirate offense has been horrible lately. I figured even the Mets' shitty bullpen could close the deal.

    Wrong, Trey.

    And fuck you, Zeke.

The Mets fucking one up is the only thing that is going to salvage my day. The Nats are out to kill me before my 53rd birthday and I suspect they'll succeed.
But at least this collapse can keep a smile on my face.

Not as bad as Tom Seaver's, and he still pitched.

Well, when I bash my head against the wall my foot at least will feel better.

Ayala actually got Mr. Kotter out today. 23 hours too fucking late.

I swear I'm sorry for all my sins in a previous life. I swear. 33 years I wait and I get this shit.
