I only suggested it because of the mad scramble for pitchers and players during the playoffs--no reason to keep anyone who might not play this week, dumping pitching to get more innings and Ks. It becomes a different game. The teams don't DL anyone at this point in the season, so you can't just add new guys, you have to dump the injured guys. And if you win that week by some miracle, someone else has grabbed the guys you had to dump.

I don't love the idea of freezing rosters during regular season...if the teams can move players around, so should we. That's the fun of the game....

Idaho--disagree with your point about CI, MI, Util....there are too many great players who play more than one position, or DHs who can only play Util.

I'm cool with a Util position. But I like, really like, the idea of some studs sitting in the free agent market and team managers playing the game that way instead of just juggling pitchers up and down depending on if they are starting.

IMO, it creates more attention from players that want to be competitive.

I want to be clear that, personally, I personally would prefer no rules changes for 2007.

Personally, I am not personally lobbying for rules changes on a personal level

Personally, I don't think my personal personnel decision have provided a true reflection of my personality.
I like the rules as they are for the regular season; I just think a waiver freeze during the playoffs might be a good idea.

If convicted, Buck could face fines of $63 on each count of intermingling with idiots, plus be sentenced to 14 months of staring at topless photos of a certain SportsJournalists.com member on a MySpace page.

"Fry the prick. He probably killed JonBenet and Natalee Hollaway too," said NIA legal analyst Nancy Grace.

A second law enforcement source said Buck was allegedly trying to obtain a solar-powered Hummer to flee to Canada.

"But he started laughing when he asked every saleslady for a 'solar-powered Hummer' and just ran away," said the law enforcement source, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Buck - I am not understanding the balance at wide receiver need- Bouldin and Chambers seem like they are same player when healthy

    Press conference has been postponed.
I've got calls out to Gary Condit and Wilson Goode.
I need some advisers on this.
