    I'm not giddy about the K/BB. Just pleasantly surprised. But I'm not that far behind in WHIP, either. One bad outing by Mark Redman and ...

    And I'll get the IP, W and K points. Mark it down.

    But I'm kicking myself for not starting Podsednik. Those 2 SBs he had tonight are going to bite me.

    You must have had a couple of decent pitching efforts. Mine (especially Drese, tho he won) were very mediocre, except for Lowe.

    No one should get excited on Wednesday or Thursday in this league. In the first week against Anodyne (may his handle RIP), I was down 12-1 pretty much the entire week, but caught up and Saturday and Sunday and won 7-6.

    That said, I'm cautiously optimistic about my current 10-3 lead over the Lollygaggers.

    BYH: Go approve my trade before ChrisL sobers up.

    Why do we need commissioner approval on trades anyway? Seems like a major conflict of interest.

    I managed to sneak in this thread without showing ID, but I just wanted to point out that in NIABLII, Passy's response time as commish is astounding. I hearby move to have him named grand commissioner of all SportsJournalists.com leagues from this day forward, you know kind of like what HB was until we all realized that starting a league was not particularly difficult.

    Traditionally, i stand by my original position.

    In this case, trading Nomar (whose penis is now apparently somewhere near his ankle) is just exquisite management.
