He said he wanted a quarterback. I offered him David Carr for McGahee.
    He spurned my offer.
Hell hath no fury like Buck spurned.

I'm not that keen on Alex Smith starting against the Chargers. But I'm not giving up my supposedly best RB for a one-week rental either. I just feel like Mike Brown, circa 1996. Can someone get me that plaid suit?

Am I the only one concerned about Chris' signature? Does he think HAL is cheese-cracker material?

I think I scored more than 85 points. That would normally be plenty in our league. But the California Steers have a few guys going nutso.

I'll go ahead and concede the victory to BYH, methinks. :-\

Meanwhile, the Hots and I are battling in a tight Norris Division battle that won't be decided until tomorrow night's mauling of the Cardinals.

As it turned out I didn't need any points from Elam! Though his nine pts took away some of the suspense from my 97-87 win. An excellent game, Modaho.

    6-0, kick ass!!!!

Let me be the first to marvel at the rapid improvement shown by Buck, who has dutifully served as the whipping boy/mangly mutt/ugly red-headed stepsister in our leagues for three years running but is in the thick of the playoff race with a 4-2 record (barring a historic night from Bernard Berrian) and a share of second place. It's like the Cardinals contending or something! Go Buck (except when you play me)!! :D

It's all because I sent David Carr to him for a third-rate TE.:(

    Thanks for the props.
But I've just been lucky so far. I'm still one of the lowest scoring teams in the league. I don't think my good fortune can hold up.

Actually, my luck's already turning bad.
Last week, my bike was stolen.
This week, somebody stole my license plate.

  11. At least it looks like your date with Ann B Davis went well.
