My understanding was punt and kickoff return TDs counted for the individual. That's what made players like Reggie Bush and Randle El (or at least I thought) more attractive.

Yahoo's not the problem ... the league setup is. I'm in another Yahoo league and have the Bears D and received 23 points, not 17 like in ours. The difference? The special teams points. Check out any fantasy site, and when they recommend players/teams for the week, it's for defense and special teams, not just defense. This is not an uncommon thing.

    Here's my gripe.

Javon Walker had 108 all-purpose yards Sunday-- a decent game that should be worth something.

But his receiving yards don't meet a damn threshold, and the rushing yards don't meet a damn threshold.

Yards aren't combined, so it's 4 pts. Meanwhile, hokie's Lee Evans has 82 yards receiving and he gets the same 4 pts.

I should have explained the TE thing. I need you all to pick up TEs off the waiver wire.

I've been miffed that through a quirk, BigDog's been able to play Marques Colston as a TE. Lucky for me, the Saints have a bye this week when I face Big Dog. So I'd like everyone to hoard tight ends.

    :p

Luggy ... I actually agree. The yardage points in this league really suck.

And the Colston thing is constant throughout most fantasy leagues, since he was a tight end at Hofstra.

But it's not like the yardage points are applied differently to you and me. We all play by the same set of rules.

Let's keep this in mind for next year, and if we can, we'll make the changes then.

Here's an artist's rendering of one of them:

Antwan Randle El was a QB in college... so we should have the option of playing him at QB ???

    ;D

You're right Freelance. That doesn't change the fact that I think they suck.

I'm the league's resident bellyacher, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Oh, and be sure to pass it on to BYH. He'll need it after this weekend!

Flag, we can take up changes to the scoring system before next season. I don't think there's any other way to handle it.

Sorry, I was irrational earlier today. I was really fired up for about an hour, and now I don't give a shit. So, anyhooooooooooooooo. I blame it on the rain, just like Milli Vanilli did.

I figured it was probably that kick Crazy Joe Davola gave you to the head.
Good thing you were wearing that helmet.
