Thank you Scott Podsednick. His timely pinch running produced two stolen bases, thereby taking the SB point away from the Has Beens and giving it to Uncle Rico.

A narrow 7-6 Rico victory became a nice 8-5 win. Might have been 9-4 had Trevor Hoffman not had a 2.00 WHIP in his meaningless inning of work in a 4-0 loss.

Guaranteeing they would then slide to 8-5. Good game, Hokie, a thrill to the end.

And yet, the Hots will retain 1st place (right?) since both Three Mile and WKBT had equally dismal weeks.

Don't be so sure on that 21, I got some solid pitching performances from Benson and Rogers today, and the hitting stats were pretty close.

Now, I'm not getting "live" stats, but I could still pull out a win against the 'Digms.

Yes, excellent game. I looked at the stats before Saturday, and I was up 13-1, but at least six or seven categories were a dead heat. Knew there was no way it would end 13-1. We'll take the win though.

It's not because I'm cheap -- it's because I'm not online nearly as much at night than when I'm at work. No sense in spending money for something I'll rarely use.

And, besides, the stats are updated by the time I get to work.

Football registration is under way. Commish, register early so we get a decent draft date/time.

I know 21 is commish, so I'll defer to her. But I'd be more than happy to set up and pay for the Fantasy Plus league and then let you all toss $10 into a paypal account to make up the expense. Fantasy Plus has lot of extra bells and whistles, such as stattracker for everyone and exclusive draft dates/times not available to the free leagues. The winner even gets a plaque proclaiming her/his NIAFL mastery.
