Top eight go to the playoffs, right? If so, an 11 1/2 game lead on ninth is safe ... for now.

Sorry. Only top six go to the championship bracket. Top two teams get a week off to rest sore arms while teams 3-6 beat each other up.

Frankly, I'm very surprised to see my stay in first last this long. My pitching staff just isn't that strong. IMO.

I may be wrong, but I believe you can let as many, or as few, into the playoffs as the commish decides is cool when setting the thing up.

Well, re-check your preferences and get the NIAFL Football setup the way you -- or the majority of the group -- likes it.

But my only real request is to not have the last week of the regular season as the a championship week. Way too many stars taking that week off and the fantasy results are not accurate or fair.

Personally, I don't mind having the bottom two or four teams left out of the playoffs. If anything, it will keep teams 8-12 trying a little harder to get one of those final playoff spots. If only six get in, I could see someone in the No. 9 or 10 spot calling it quits with three weeks to go if there was no chance of climbing the standings high enough to extend the season.
