Your MVP-- Pujols. And only because he was my guy, But ARod is a very good pick, as would be Dontrelle Willis as a pitcher
Biggest Surprise-- Derek Lee. Thanks for trading him to me, Anodyne.
Biggest Disappointment-- The Houston offense. Oswalt and Clemens had a lot of No Decisions this year.
    First pick next season-- Pujols.
Any suggestions for next year-- Fewer roster positions for a deeper free agent pool. Just like we're discussing with football.
If you were planning the Post-Season Party-- Lots of Ice Cream. :D

If you were planning the Post-Season Party-- the rest of league would be very lucky

    Indulge my whining here ...

First off, congrats to Big Dog for wiping me out this week. Can't do anything when the team you play scores 120ish. Nice work.

Second ... the format for this league sucks sucks sucks and sucks some more. We have 12 teams. Why in God's name are we carrying two QBs, three RBs, three WRs and two flex players? I love the competition and the league members, but there is just no chance to make creative moves, because there is no one out there. It's hard to trade with anyone, because no one has any depth because there are too many freaking scoring positions.

Just a suggestion for next year: Go with one QB, two RBs, two WRs, one flex, kicker, defense. Why no two QBs? Because of the bye weeks. It would suck to have to face someone at full strength when one of your QBs is on the bye. And with two QB positions, it's a given that all 32 starting QBs would be accounted for by the end of the draft. I don't think someone should be put at a competitive disadvantage simply because of the bye week.

Don't worry. I'm not taking my ball and going home. I want to try to compete within the parameters of the league, but there's so little flexibility in free agent pickups that it's close to impossible.

Now, if you excuse me, I need to go drop a Deuce in the pool (McAllister in the free agent pool, that is. :D)

Hokie - I feel bad - since we have Manning and Bledsoe - you can have Trent Greene. We have to figure out a way to make the transfer.

Hokie--we agree.  Those are the default settings, and the Hots did not wish to be charged with messing around with the league.  Inetresting that last year this didn't seem to be a problem....or maybe we just didn't notice.

When the Hots repeat as Commissioner next year, we will make the changes.

Appreciate it, Boom. QB's not my issue ... RB, now, that's a different issue. Went to look for a replacement for Deuce, and there isn't one RB out there who will see more than 5 touches. Patrick Pass is the best available. So now you see where I'm getting at.

It wasn't a problem last year. But then I believe you asked me to set up the league settings and such.

I'll make a note of this for next year when I'm sitting in the commish's office, overlooking the scenic Detroit River.

    Ahem.

BYH's Draft Dodgers are 3-2 after an 0-2 start. The NIAFL commissioner's office will overlook an Eastern body of water next fall! :D

I know you east coasters have trouble with math, but I'm 5-0 and have a matchup with another 5-0 team in Salami.

Well, I have a pretty good feeling the body of water won't have abnormaly high salt content

Alright BYH, I'll ask publicly now, since I know you've looked at my trade offer ...

PRETTY PLEASE, WITH FUCKING SUGAR ON TOP, EITHER REJECT OR ACCEPT IT. IF YOU REJECT, I CAN BEG ELSEWHERE IN THE LEAGUE FOR A WORTHLESS SECOND-STRING RUNNING BACK. WITH NO ONE TO PICK UP, DAWDLING ON TRADE OFFERS FOR FIVE DAYS AT A TIME MAKES ME WANT TO BENCH MY ENTIRE TEAM TO MAKE A POINT.

    Thank you. ;)
