Is it me, or has this been among the tighter races midway through the season? Not much separation at the top makes for great matchups each week.

I haven't looked at the top of the standings, but I've somehow managed to reach .500 after an abysmal start.

The All-Star Break is here, which means a lack of baseball, which means a temptation to look ahead to football, which means there will be another NIAFL draft in the coming weeks, which means the commissioner ... oh, uh, me ... needs to get on it.

Yeah, that will be starting up soon enough.

Hank leads at the break, which is pretty much the way it has been all season, except for (I think?) three weeks. Can't get the stats from stupid Yahoo!

I'm in second, and a bunch of other teams are behind me.

I don't look back, only forward.

Hank and I are matched up when we resume #NorrisDivisionBattle

Will the settings be finalized before the draft?

    Rough 2 weeks, from 1st to 5th.

Any interest in moving to another host for football?

For the most part, I'm indifferent. I like the convenience of Yahoo having all of the leagues at once place. However, I know ESPN and NFL.com do good jobs with their leagues, having done them here or there.

I've done leagues elsewhere and Yahoo has been the best, FWIW.

I like Yahoo better than CBS. Those are the only two I've used.

Any interest in a fee-based site like MFL?

I think it's $90, which would be $7.50 a head, and we could import our league from Yahoo.

The topic of a paid host was raised a long time ago, and I was opposed to it.

I am very much in favor of it now; however, I can understand if folks don't want to pay a hosting fee.

    Just throwing it out there.
