Just realized that semifinal match-up between Oz and me is a rematch of last year's title match.

Just accepted that Hots are going to kick my ass.

Gary Sanchez alone is going to kick my ass.

Free wins? Guess someone forgot to tell the Phillies tonight they were facing a Cy Young candidate.

At this rate it's going to be Villanova vs. Oklahoma by Sunday.

Somehow I've taken the lead thanks to pitching.

Here's the chess for the weekend, and I know Ron is going to rage-fuck the shit out of someone in the Great Beyond after seeing this post.

I think I can sweep pitching without throwing another starter and hoping Hots pitchers shit the bed like Duffy did last night; though Hamels went 7 scoreless for the win at Oakland. Ventura and Miranda are slated to start for me today and tonight but I don't trust Ventura and only picked Miranda up the other day as a just in case. Hots have Straily going in Milwaukee so I have to just hope he has a bad day. Maybe Big Chris takes him yard a few times. Even if Straily gets a win, I have a 4-3 lead in that category going into tomorrow. I already have a 2-save lead and am confident in both my closers Jansen and Dyson. The ERA category still teeters on the brink. I'm confident to maintain the lead in WHIP. The 6.50 K/BB is a lock unless Jansen and Dyson shit the bed. The tricky thing is Sunday. I have no starters slated to go. Hots have Rich Hill and Jon Lester so that could alter the wins category, strikeouts, ERA and WHIP should those 2 kick ass.

If by chance I get lucky and sweep pitching, I'd need just to win just one offensive category to reach the championship.

I think I'll win stolen bases. I lead runs. I *might* be able to get average. I'm not winning HR or RBI, probably not OPS.

Yordano Ventura ... Yordano Fucking Ventura. What to do with this headcase today ...

He pitched a complete game beauty on Monday for the win. But I just do not trust him against the Tigers, in Detroit.

And yet, in 5 career starts against Detroit he is 3-0 with a 1.76 ERA in 30.2 IP with 25/12 K/BB rate.

His ERA at Comerica is 2.03 thru 13.1 innings with 13 Ks, 1.20 WHIP ... and 2 hit batters.

In 8 career day starts he is 4-2 with a 3.61 ERA in 52 IP and meager 2.85 K/BB.

It would help enormously if he shined today. But I don't trust him enough to start him. Unless ... I just go balls to the wall and play all my cards.

Wonder what Ron thinks I should do ... perhaps start Jay Bruce if he's active?

And yo, Ron, give me a sign if you think Yordano's gonna do it today.

LOL, Ron. Commence your hate-fucking wherever you are.

Well, here we go ... final day of Final 4 Week. As you can see I dropped a point, nearly 2, before a few late runs gave me the lead in that category but barely.

4 of my starters did not play yesterday. That was nice. I did not start Yordano or Miranda, which was a good decision. Neither won, they went a combined 8 IP with 6.75 ERA and 8 total K's.

Hots have 2 pitchers starting today. I have none.

If you're lurking, Hots, good luck and see ya on the other side.

The Hots are tied up in meetings all morning finalizing their football lineup for the day but they asked me to pass on their
best of luck to you as well. It looks like they have 3 pitchers going today , not 2. The also have been trying to reach Dusty Baker
via tweeter to implore him top get Murphy back in lineup. @dusty play murph. Final result could come down to what John Lester does tonight.

First of all, the Hots do not 'shit the bed.' Although we once lost a mini Reese's in the bed, causing some unintended drama when housekeeping came in to change the linens.

Thanks to Songbird for his tremendous reporting of this penultimate matchup. And to Earthman for his fanatical following. What a league.

I really need Hots pitchers to shit the bed, or lose mini Reese's in bed. Either one is fine with me.

What are the tiebreakers should it be 6-6?

You should only eat the white chocolate Reese's when in bed
