After all, it's far better for the nation and taxpayers if all sorts of single parents have 4-5 kids, make less than $12,000 a year, and get tons of earned income credit on their taxes.

I understand what the admin's doing. They're trying to make the hard social conservatives
think they're getting some tangible action in return for their votes. Never mind that this
specific bit of government "action" is pissing money up a rope, while sawing off
thinking people who can see that the gov is pissing said money up said rope, without
addressing the real issues. Stupid, unrealistic edicts do not take the place of fostering
personal responsibility and judgment.

 

Funny how this bit of news trickled out a week before Election Day.

Whatever happened to the good old days when conservatism was about keeping government off our backs? Conservatism has evolved into the use of government to rape our liberties.
