That was why I asked if he did it again, unless you're asking if he'd be prosecuted for shooting himself.

 

Late to the party here but I believe the difference here is the venue in which the two "stunts" (I use the term loosely here for the two dipshits). Blaine and other magicians I'm sure get permits to fire a gun, not to mention he's likely firing blanks. The couple did this from their home, IIRC. At the very least she's going to jail for unlawfully firing a weapon among other possible gun charges. At worst it's involuntary manslaughter for killing someone while doing something reckless. It depends if prosecutor wants to even bother with throwing the book at her.
