I'm hoping it offers, well, an offer. I've gotten way too many rejection letters from this place. I'm beginning to think I suck at life.

 

I know nothing about the job or the paper, but Chuck McGill is a heck of a guy. I would imagine he would be great to work for because he was great to work with.

 

Do you know if Mr. McGill takes kindly to bribes?

Looks like the Northern Virginia Daily's circulation went up this year, according to the ABC numbers at least. That seems pretty impressive...

 

From what I know - the position has yet to be filled. I hear they are overwhelmed by the response, though. That could be attributed to the fact that its graduation time. Or the fact that its the greatest sports section in the history of the world.

Anybody here apply? Where do you karaoke, Mr. C? And do you like the Village People?

 

I have yet to receive my rejection letter, so my fingers are still crossed. The fact that they are overwhelmed by the response, however, probably doesn't work to my advantage.

I wonder when the candidate pool will be narrowed down. Maybe I won't check my mail for a few months. That way I can't be disappointed.

i hear the nvd's responses have been so good, mcgill's considering sending his top reporter on paid sabbatical in order to free up some space in the newsroom.

 

Any news on this one? I still haven't received my rejection letter, so I've spent most of my time sitting by the phone.
