I'm sure this will go badly, since someone will say 'sure, you have to side with Boom...' Believe me, I do not...I just don't talk about it here. In this case, I saw the movie before he did, and I didn't tell him because I didn't want to discuss it until he saw it.

I love Al Gore. To me, this man is the only genuine light in the very dull and disappointing party that I have supported for my entire adult life. If the next race comes down to Hillary or Obama, I'm going to vote for a Republican for the first time ever.

I found the movie completely credible and informational....I learned a lot, and I take the message seriously. But...it was BORING. I felt like I was watching a filmstrip in jr high. This was a PBS special flying on the tailwind of Hollywood politics...not a big screen production. I wanted to be thrilled and riveted....I was just disappointed. Not by the message, but by the medium.

It's just me? Everyone else thought this was a fascinating presentation?

I did, but I am a first class geek, so my critique can be ignored by all the cool folk.

And BTW, this tree hugger is in fact still obsessed with (automobile) fuel consumption. Mine remains zero.

hope you are riding a bike or walking then. Mass transit puts more co2 into air than the autos.

I don't accept your premise, but other than going to work (on a train), yes, I am biking or walking all the time.
