I mean, Senior majors don’t count. And I can’t see him trying to chase down Bernhard’s PGAT records.

If Watson can be within a 2-putt of winning another major at 59, I think Woods can.
Lightning in a bottle one hot, spicy weekend over there?…..I can see it.

Watson was healthy. Woods is not. His body can't take weather colder than Florida's.

Didn't Watson, 59, and Norman, 60, threaten to win the Open in back-to-back years?

    Yes
    Norman was T3 in 08
    Watson in 09

    Again.
One hot, spicy weekend over there.
Rain and blowing 40 prolly won’t do it.
Baked out fairways and 80 degrees….see what happens.

Thought so. (I was on the sports desk back then. God, that was a long time ago.)

Back to Lowry with some sweet putting, wow a 66.

JT winning would fit the Open history to a T (no pun intended), one guy finding putting magic out of nowhere. He birdied 17 & 18, when the wind was up too!

Look out for Xander and Brooks.

NBC, in its wisdom, has put two Scottish commentators alongside Steve Sands for the early morning Eastern time broadcast. I can understand about one of every two words. This bodes ill for my trip to England and Scotland this fall.
