    Guys, I just heard from a VERY credible source that Tom Osborne has been hired as Nebraska's athletic director. It's very hush hush right now, but I wanted to give all of you a heads-up, because, like I said, my source is VERY credible.

    We must have two sources close to each other. Mine said the same thing, but he said Osborne is the "interim" a.d.
    Just the same.

    OK ... Let's verify that we have the same source. Mine said ... remember, on the DL ... that the Nebraska fans and boosters are PISSED about that little 45-14 home loss to Oklahoma State last Saturday.

    This source said some of those same people were STEAMED that the Huskers are 4-3 (1-2) so far into Callahan's tenure.

    OK, how about if it read it in North Platte? Or Grand Island? Norfolk? Scottsbluff?
    Doc, what do you have against those towns and their fine newspapers?
    Are you anti-rural Nebraska or something?
