SRM has learned through a source very close to the Nebraska program--an ex-All American player--tells me under the strict guarantee of anonymity, that Bill Callahan will be bought out of the last 4 years of his contract at the end of the year. The recommendation was made last week by interim AD/Nebraska legend Tom Osborne, who took over when the board fired AD Steve Pederson 2 weeks ago, and has apparently been ratified. Chancelleor Harvey Perlman is apparently on board, as well.
