Well he plays for a manager who has had an awful lot of guys who have admitted to using it or been caught doing so. It's also really funny how the pitchers they sign seem to suddenly revive their careers there. I'm sure that's got nothing to do with PEDs because we all know pitchers don't use them...

Tom, cool it. Are you trying to rival boots?

I certainly wouldn't blame a manager or an organization for the off-the-field actions of players unless you can demonstrate that the manager or the organization was advocating those actions. People need to take responsibility for themselves.

and i think that's bs, moddy. the guy drives home a point correlating speeding and taking hgh. he's the one who made the point and then attempted to aggressively dismiss it.

i wasn't the one who became pissed off when logic was brought into the discussion.

    Really, it's not.

Sorry but that doesn't wash. Coaches get blamed for that all the time.

Wow, is that ever a ridiculously unfair stretch. Pitchers suddenly got better in Atlanta when Leo Mazzone was there, too. So I guess every pitcher Mazzone ever helped must be on steroids or HGH, too, right? Bullshit.

Who has LaRussa had get busted or admit use? Canseco admitted it. Ankiel has now been busted. I'll even give you McGwire, though there is no admission or positive test there. That's three. No way is that a basis to accuse Pujols just because he plays for LaRussa. That would be incredibly unfair to Pujols even if LaRussa had managed 100 proven steroid users.

Take off the Cubbies fanboy glasses for five seconds and actually think about what you are typing. And if you think that is an unfair accusation against you, that you can't see past your team loyalty and the hatred of the Cardinals that comes with it? Well, if the accusation being unfair isn't going to stop you, why should it stop me?

  10. No, you're right about the issue. Just the level of vehemence is, well, disproportionate.

See, SJ com is an educational tool.

You have the right to disagree with whomever you want. Can't you do it by saying "I disagree and here's why." Or "that's a flawed argument and here's why?"

There seems to be way too many full of shits and fuck yous and you sucks and more in your posts.

In short, it is possible to disagree without being a dick about it.

DBD - the SJ motto. Don't be a dick.
