NY Daily News: Ankiel linked to HGH

The central character in baseball's feelgood story of the year turns up in the interstate investigation of an HGH mill in Florida? Certainly a story.

Is it the whole story? Of course not.

And if the DN has its facts wrong, Mr. Ankiel will wind up owning a New York newspaper once his lawsuit is settled.

Funny that Cubs and Royals fanboys are at the vanguard of the vitriol. Just sayin'

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Remind us which team you follow, dools.

Please do not tell me how or where to post on this board. I'm not going to listen, so it's just a waste of time and makes you come off like an arrogant jerk. You are the one who has been dragging this fight out because you ALWAYS have to have the last word. Well, go ahead. Show us how dedicated you are to staying on topic by not responding to this post in the thread. Let's see if you can actually do it.

I'm having trouble following this thread. At one point, there were three posts in a row of which I know nothing of the content. That's when you know the assholes have dug in their claws to destroy what had been a decent thread.

Why would he want to own the paper? He doesn't need that headache.
I think the facts may be right. I'm just curious as to where the information came from originally.

I hope big brother hasn't been editing again. The discussion has been pretty good, especially in the wee hours.

I'm with you Heinie. Not sure why it's necessary to flame somebody on every thread he posts on (and yes, I'm guility of said offense), use the button people or otherwise stop responding to him. Without attention, he'll have no reason to post.

I'm with you sportschick. For the second time in less than a 12 hour period, you have gone off the reservation to take a shot at I believe me. If you don't have something to say about Ankiel, keep it to yourself. I think you are the one craving for attention otherwise you wouldn't repeat something you said earlier.
Just a thought but whomever released this information to the Daily News could've easily done it at the Times which has many more readers. Did they pass on this information?

Your preference has been noted. Now you can conjure up a fib and start a thread about it.

The NYDN has written more PED stories than any paper outside SF, Boots.
TJ Quinn is basically on the PED beat and has been follwing this case all along...that's why he got the leaked info.
