Mark, are you boots? No. You can't answer for me. I said I was interested in your thoughts. I don't know about this other stuff you're talking about.

This whole thread has degenerated into name calling and ridiculous in fighting, per usual when boots starts us off on the wrong foot.

    Where is the Ankiel discussion?

I am on record as saying he isn't in the wrong here and that most players in his position would do the same thing. Players adding fake stats to their already Hall of Fame career on the other hand need to go to hades.

He isn't in the wrong, save for the fact he broke the law.

Other than that, Rick Ankiel is as clean as a new born baby.

He's wrong if he's using fake prescriptions to obtain a regulated drug or supplement - which is a crime - and which is where this case may or may not lead.

We're going to answer this one at a time. Mark, what can I say? I am who I am.
Indian, I have been attempting to keep this one Ankiel. It's other who want to in fight, name call and basically do what they can. When the thread is locked. They try to blame it on me. Read the posts. They speak for themselves and tell the true story.
As for you assertion that other players in his position would do the same, I agree.

    This is no Joke!

Boots I used you to point out something. That it isn't you causing these problems. I called you out to try to instigate you into name calling but you didn't bite. This just proves what you have been asserting all along, which is that you are not the problem. Good job boots!

No. boots is boots. indiansnetwork spoke the truth. yet, you continue with the same snide backhanded comments directed toward me instead of keeping it on the topic at hand.
Here's a question, does this controversy derail's Ankiel from becoming comeback player of the year?

Not having followed this thing all day, I wonder why it's so easy for everyone to automatically assume that Ankiel is guilty of using HGH based on one newspaper story. And if it turns out to be untrue, will the Daily News be castigated as much as the Pittsburgh paper that jumped the gun on naming the Steelers new coach? Somehow, I think the majority of folks on here have made up their mind.
I have no idea whether he used it, but the knee-jerk response to assume guilt makes me sad for this profession as a whole.
