I know there is no test for HGH. The question is did he use and if he did, when did he stop.
Sportschick, what is your issue? No one is baiting anyone. This has been good discussion and here you go with your usual bullshit.
Use the button on yourself, it might make you a nicer, happier person.

  2. If I may interrupt your wide-swinging cranky-fest, what exactly was your problem with my post? I was trying to get boots' attention.

Boots, that is the question, and as we've said, it makes sense that he might have used it after the ban. Is it still a non-story then?

Of course iit's not a non-story if he used after the ban. It's a major story, and an even bigger one if he used it this year.
I know Ankiel was desperate and as usual people are assuming things.
Who is to say that he didn't throw the drugs out?

Who is to say he didn't buy in bulk and used them for years? We don't know. Time to find out.

I'm kinda late on the pickup of this news. Of course it's 4:53 a.m. in Texas ... and I should be asleep. Never mind. If this is all true about Rick Ankiel, I feel sad that the "feel good story of the Summer of '07" allegedly is tarnished.

I saw earlier posts about him being a prick in interviews. Gosh, I'm shocked. A ballplayer being a prick in interviews? God, that's NEVER happened in sports, entertainment, business, life, etc., now ... has it. (Sarcasm font, please.)

I hope and, yes, wish this wasn't true.

Maybe Mickey Mantle getting a B.J. in the bullpen back in the day isn't looked up too kindly ... but would there be as big a hullabaloo about that today? I'm just asking ... no judgment on my part.

Ehhhh ... I'm going back to reading SportsChick's posts.

Bucking for a future poolboy opening, are you? And absent any other revelations of HGH acquisition, I'm not going to assume Ankiel made a year's supply stretch from 2004 till now.

Is HGH legal with a prescription? Someone said it's like heroin, which isn't legal in any case.

  12. This makes me wonder.
