La Canfora is still at CBS Sports, is he not? I recall him saying he left his scoop job at NFL Network because of burnout. He had young kids at the time, and you never get that time back.

That is depressing, but valid as hell. Pure fanhood = the dodo.

    CBS dumped him last year.

He writes a few times a week for the Post during football season and has a radio show in Baltimore. Also appears on Kornheiser's show on Fridays.

I think we've learned quite a bit about our fellow travellers during the last generation of time or so.
They don't want what we sell, and they mean it this time.
Jefferson always said a generation lasts about 17 or 18 years.
That was about how long it took print journalism to die.

I had a kid come to my door yesterday trying to sell me some kind of Wi-Fi shit. There wasn't anything in the world that would have made me give him the three or five minutes to make his presentation. I didn't have time, I didn't care and I wasn't interested. They aren't interested in newspapers' way of doing things, either. For a number of reasons.

I spent quite a bit of time (!!!) in a rest home lately and not one (1) person I saw was reading a newspaper. Not a one.
