NY TIMES cutting page sizes, employees

    That's insane. The Edison plant first ran color for The Times in '93. If the Queens facility is the College Point one, that opened just a few years later. I should know this timeline better since my dad was one of the ones at The Times signing off on all the payments to the contractors building the plants. I can't believe they'd close the Edison plant after having it open less than a decade. Can the College Point (Queens) facility handle the extra workload it will have to take on by closing the Edison plant?
