O.J. Mayo going to Southern Cal

It would be great if Mayo arrived on campus in a White Bronco with a police escort.

 

I hear he's already signed up Al Cowlings for a special guest appearance.

 

Saw Mayo play here last winter in a tournament downtown. The kid is a beast, but he'll probably play one year at USC before jumping to the NBA.

 

He's been pretty open about that. There was lots of talk about him going to Florida A&M or some other outpost, doing his year, and then cashing in. Somthing tells me he'll spend more time in Staples Center than an actual classroom.

 

Hell, that's how came to Michigan.

 

But your name isn't O.J. so no one gave a shit.

I like Tim Floyd. Think he's one of the best coaches in America. But I do not know that if I am him if I want this story out there. Kind of makes it look like he's just kind of watching things happen as this kid runs the show, especially the "don't call me, I'll call you" thing. Who's going to be the boss when he gets to campus? This could be huge for SC or could throw the program into total turmoil.

 

Man, if I were Floyd I would worry about this guy getting USC put on probation. No telling what the hell could be going on...

 

Of course, if they don't get caught while OJ is there, Floyd probably won't care. By that time, he could be back in the NBA.
