    Well, for a certain subsection of young America.

    I believe JFK's assassination is at least No. 2 in that regard, perhaps No. 1, if you were of an age to notice it. I was right on the edge at 5 years old. But I still remember that afternoon vividly.

    For Gen X, BYM’s list absolutely applies. The pandemic is No. 3 because there isn’t a single defining “Where were you” moment for non-sports fans.
