I suppose this means the A's will be filing articles of incorporation in Nevada. While they're at it, they might want to consider applying to be a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. I'm sure the rest of MLB -- led by the Rangers, Angels, Astros and Mariners -- would be more than willing to vouch for their legitimacy as a charitable entity.

    Meanwhile in Milwaukee...

Brewers may relocate if $448 million in renovations to stadium aren't made: report | Fox News

Uh, yeah, no, it's really not. The stadium is in perfectly fine functional condition. The billionaire owners just want a $445 million lollipop.

But it's a Faux Fascist Noise propaganda slurp piece for the billionaires, so of course the "ballpark is falling apart at the seams" horseshit is pumped out verbatim.

See, from 2000 through 2020, some $600 million of public money had been spent on construction and maintenance of the stadium.

    Wasn't it $300m a week ago? I know inflation is a bitch, but c'mon!

This $445M should carry them through 2032, when the park will be 30 years old.

And then they'll want another one.

Not that they want any public input, amirite?

I know Sparks High School is called the Railroaders, but the tracks run through Carson City as well, it seems.

Given the city's reputation for attracting losers, the A's will fit right in. Wasn't it supposed to be a retractable roof?

The other one they had for a minute a few weeks ago, over by the Rio, had the roof.

Wait, the new stadium won't have a roof? In Las Vegas? In the summer? And people thought Arlington Stadium was an extreme sauna in July and August?
